Polycarpe & Sisters

IMG-20181026-WA0013Polycarpe Mugenzi transports guests for the Sisters in Rubengera several times a year . He picks up and brings visitors to and from the airport and organizes and supervises various trips for the sisters. More than 40 deaconesses are active in Rubengera. Most activities take place in and around the sister community. Think about:

  • Kindergarten
  • Primary school
  • Higher Technical School (Woodworking)
  • Poor relief in the region
  • Sewing workshop, bakery and postcard maker
  • Conference center (up to 500 visitors)
  • Guest house
  • Baby consultation
  • Farm

In addition, sisters have appointments in national church work, clinics and hospitals. The Sisters in Rwanda (Abaja ba Kristo) are affiliated with the Zendings-Diakonessenhuis in Amerongen (NL)

There are also visitors to Rwanda who have no direct relationship with the Sisters. They also want a well-organized trip and guidance. This prompted Polycarpe to start organizing trips to Rwanda for tourists in 2018.

Polycarpe is supported in the Netherlands by Erik Pekkeriet and by Pastor Eraste from the Sister Community.
