Best Rwanda visits

Rwanda is a country in East Africa and borders Congo-Kinshasa, Uganda, Tanzania and Burundi. Rwanda is located entirely above 1000 meters and is also called the country of 1000 hills. Even though Rwanda is a small country (2/3 of the Netherlands), there is a lot to experience. In addition to the beautiful capital Kigali, the country is characterized by diversity. In the north there are high volcanoes (>4500m), hot springs and gorillas, in the east there is the Akagera National Park. The domain of elephants, giraffes, lions, rhinos and many other wild animal species. In the south is the tropical rainforest Nyungwe Forest and in the west is Lake Kivu, located at an altitude of 1460 metres. Rwanda has 12 million inhabitants. Rwanda is one of the most emancipated countries in the world. Rwanda is also one of the safest countries in the region with reasonable infrastructure due to well-paved main roads throughout the country.
